North Korea's Weapons of Mass Destruction: Repression, Starvation, and Nukes
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Mitchell Hamline School of Law

North Korea has been in global headlines with the meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, leader of the world’s most repressive dictatorship, to craft a deal for North Korea’s complete denuclearization.

This talk explores North Korea’s complex relationships with China, South Korea, and Japan; the influence of the US and America’s military presence along the North-South border; North Korea’s nuclear threat; and the North Korean government’s record of human rights abuses perpetrated against its own citizens.

Jack Rendler, North Korea Country Specialist for Amnesty International, will discuss these issues on Wednesday, August 29, 7:00-9:00 pm at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Kelley Board Room, 875 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105.

This program is open to public; no reservations necessary. $10 general public, $5 students and seniors, and free to Mitchell Hamline students. $25 for 2 standard CLE credits available for lawyers.
