ABC’s of Public Benefits: What Every Elder Law Attorney Should Know
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Mitchell Hamline School of Law

Elder law practitioners spend a lot of time talking about Medical Assistance because, let’s face it, there’s a lot to talk about.  But there’s so much more to consider!  This session will provide a broad overview of federal and state benefit programs that provide essential support in the form of income, health care, housing, and food to our clients who are elderly or living with a disability.

Laura Zdychnec, Esq., Long, Reher, Hanson & Price, P.A.
Laura Zdychnec has been practicing law since 1991, and focuses her practice in the areas of elder and special needs law, estate and tax planning, probate, and guardianship and conservatorship. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, serves on the Governing Council of the Elder Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and is accredited as an advisor through the U.S Veterans Administration. Laura is active with the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota/North Dakota, the VA Health System’s Dementia Outreach program, and serves on the board of directors of Our Lady of Peace Hospice.

Registration is CLOSED

Please note: Registration will close at the end of the day before the CLE to allow staff time to process registration. Thanks in advance for planning accordingly.
