Event Description:
Description

“Contemporary Constitutional Challenges”   Beginning with the Presidential Election of 2016, the courts have been responsible for determining the constitutionality of actions by other parts of the government as never before.  Among talk of  “Fake News”, falsehoods, and partisan politics, it is hard for anyone to discern what and why courts decide on these initiatives.  This program is a  nonpartisan guide of what issues the Executive Branch, the states, and the courts support  and which arguments have been successful or not.

You will also leave with a copy of the Constitution, and CLE credits if needed.  A reception will follow to meet our speaker and learn more about the ACS.
