"Building Your Professional Brand."

What natural strengths do you bring to your work and the legal profession? How do you communicate those strengths to others? Your professional brand reflects your professional reputation — what you are known for or would like to be known for. Join us on Wednesday, June 20 as we discuss how to identify your natural strengths and specific strategies for effectively building your professional brand and communicating those strengths to clients, colleagues, and prospective employers.

Leanne Fuith, Visiting Assistant Professor and Dean of Career and Professional Development at Mitchell Hamline School of Law

Leanne is the Dean of Career and Professional Development and Visiting Assistant Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She teaches courses in law firm management; business organizations; negotiation, drafting, and client counseling. She also works with Mitchell Hamline students and alumni both inside and outside of the classroom to identify their strengths and understand how they can use their strengths to seek meaningful careers. 

Prior to teaching, Leanne applied her understanding of her own strengths in private practice representing employees and small businesses in civil rights, employment and commercial litigation as well as in her earlier work as a writer, business consultant and corporate communications leader. Leanne received her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Marketing Communications from the University of Wisconsin and her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (formerly William Mitchell College of Law).

Beth Neu, HR and Operations Manager at Jeff Anderson & Associates; Gallup Strengths Coach
Beth Neu joined Jeff Anderson & Associates as the Manager of Human Resources and Operations in 2017 and brings both her years of experience and commitment to helping others grow, continue to learn and develop.  Jeff Anderson & Associates is a law firm exclusively devoted to seeking justice for survivors of child abuse.  

Beth has a background in pursuing organizational and personal excellence using the National Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence and has experience in health care, non-profit management, business and education as the former Twin Cities Director of the Performance Excellence Network.  Beth has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and certifications in Prosci organizational change management, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Gallup Strengths Finder.  Beth uses the Strengths Finder tool with all of the staff at Jeff Anderson & Associates to them develop and use their Strengths in all that they do.
