Alumni CLE Series: Global Privacy and Cybersecurity Legal Considerations in the Age of Big Data
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Mitchell Hamline School of Law

The Alumni CLE Series presents "Global Privacy and Cybersecurity Legal Considerations in the Age of Big Data"

Global organizations are more frequently positioning big data as a growth opportunity likely to increase customer loyalty, provide better service, improve operational efficiency, and enable data insight transfer to third parties. Although data transfer, analytics, and location limitations complicate achieving these business goals, strategic contract management and smart technology implementation may reduce risk for organizations pursuing big data opportunities internationally.

Presenter Charlotte Tschider is owner and principal of Cybersimple Security, which provides privacy and security consulting services for small to large businesses, and is on the faculty of Mitchell Hamline's Cybersecurity and Privacy Law certificate program. She is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Training Advisory Board, reviewing international professional privacy educational books and training materials.

Attend in person (Room 319) or via webcast. Complimentary for alumni, faculty, and staff (use discount code "FREECLE" on registration page) $40 for non-alumni.

1 Standard CLE Credit has been approved. Event Code 234584.
