Event Description:

World Without Genocide is sponsoring a talk at Mitchell Hamline School of Law on Wednesday, February 26, 7:00 – 9:00 pm titled Genocides and Atrocities Today: China, India, Yemen, and Syria.

Despite the vow of “never again” uttered after the Holocaust, genocides and other mass atrocities continue to occur today. This program explores current crises in China, India, Yemen, and Syria and the legal and policy efforts to protect vulnerable populations and to prosecute those who are perpetrating violence.

Registration required by February 23 at worldwithoutgenocide.org/today

$25 for 2 continuing legal education credits for lawyers. $10 general public, $5 seniors and students. Free to Mitchell Hamline students. ‘Clock hours’ for teachers and social workers.
