End Date: 12/6/2018End Time: 1:00 PM
Event Description:

Topic:
Until recently, international trade law is usually an area that does not make daily headlines.  This CLE will offer a primer on the various international trade laws and how they are being utilized by the current administration.

This CLE will cover issues such as:

  • Anti-dumping duties on washing machine and solar cell imports;
  • Section 301 action against China;
  • Section 232 tariffs on Aluminum and Steel imports;
  • Renegotiations of existing Free Trade Agreements such as NAFTA and KORUS;
  • Export control actions and investigations; and
  • Expanding role of CFIUS in international trade and investment.

This list obviously may change as these actions continue to develop.  Never has it been so exciting to be involved in international trade.
