Have you had great interviews? Bad interviews? Interviews that have been a little of column A and a little of column B? Are you just getting started in the legal profession and want tips on how to interview well? This CLE will give you concrete ways to improve your legal interviewing skills.

Presenter Biography: 
Leanne Fuith, Visiting Assistant Professor and Dean of Career and Professional Development at Mitchell Hamline School of Law

Leanne is the Dean of Career and Professional Development and Visiting Assistant Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She teaches courses in law firm management; business organizations; negotiation, drafting, and client counseling. She also works with Mitchell Hamline students and alumni both inside and outside of the classroom to identify their strengths and understand how they can use their strengths to seek meaningful careers. 

Prior to teaching, Leanne applied her understanding of her own strengths in private practice representing employees and small businesses in civil rights, employment and commercial litigation as well as in her earlier work as a writer, business consultant and corporate communications leader. Leanne received her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Marketing Communications from the University of Wisconsin and her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (formerly William Mitchell College of Law).

Nancy Lochner Howard, Director of Recruiting, Inclusion and Diversity, Fredrickson & Byron, P.A.

Nancy is responsible for recruiting later and entry-level attorneys who create diverse and inclusive teams focused on providing the highest quality work and service to Fredrickson & Byron’s clients.

Working with firm leadership and its practice group leaders, Nancy strategically determines and fulfills the firm’s hiring needs. She manages the summer associate program and coordinates attorney onboarding and integration, ensuring all attorneys have access to the necessary resources to help them succeed. 

Nancy brings over 20 years of combined experience as a franchise lawyer and legal professional.  Prior to joining Fredrikson, Nancy served as the chief of staff and Assistant Dean of Career Services at Hamline University School of Law. 

Adam Nathe, Partner, Stinson Leonard Street LLP
Adam Nathe is a commercial finance lawyer with more than 16 years of experience with complex commercial, agricultural, and alternative energy financing transactions. Adam's diverse experiences in finance, agribusiness, energy, and commercial lending allow him to make critical connections and provide valuable insights to clients as they structure transactions. Adam has served as a trusted advisor to commercial lenders of various sizes, institutional lenders, investment funds, and corporate clients. He also regularly advises businesses on general corporate matters, contracting, capital raising and acquisitions. Early in his early career Adam was a commercial litigator, which gives him valuable insights into financing and commercial transactions through critical events and changes in the business cycle.
